Renal Journey

Program provided to clients who are diagnosed with chronic renal failure. They may not be confirmed to start dialysis or about to start dialysis. The program is extended to the public in making awareness regarding kidney failure.

Acute Haemodialysis

In hospital dialysis, in the wards, ICU, High care units for admitted clients.

Chronic Haemodialysis

It's performed in the chronic unit in Scottburgh Mall.
- for out hospital clients.
- transport from home to the centre is provided and back home.

Therapeutic Plasma Exchange

It is a treatment that removes plasma from your blood and the removed plasma is exchanged/replaced with a substitute plasma solution. Indications
-Acute Civilian Renal Syndrome
-Chronic inflamatory dimyelinating polyneuropath
-Myasthenia
Thrombocytopenic Purpura

Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy

Continuous dialysis therapy done on critically ill patients over 24hours This is done in critical care units (ICU and High Care).

SLEDD

Sustained low effiviency daily dialysis is an increasingly popular renal replacement therapy for intensive care unit(ICU) patients. It can be 6-8 hour depending on doctors prescription.
